Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to orders placed with MIORVYN Jewelry (“Miorvyn”, “we”, “us”) through https://www.miorvyn.com. We sell fashion jewellery online and dispatch from China to the United Kingdom and other countries. We do not have a physical shop. By placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not order.

Our products

Our pieces are fashion jewellery in gold-clad copper or a gold-tone finish. They are not solid gold, not hallmarked as solid gold, and not precious-metal bullion. Colour, plating thickness and wear vary with use. Photos are as accurate as we can make them, but screens differ. Each product page states the material. Custom sizing or design changes are only agreed if we confirm them in writing before you pay.

Orders and contract

A contract is formed when we email you to accept the order, or when we dispatch it, whichever is sooner. We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if there is an obvious pricing error. If we cancel, we will refund what you paid for that item.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) unless the page says otherwise. The price is the price shown at checkout, including any discount code that is valid at that time. Delivery charges are shown before you pay. You can pay with the methods offered at checkout, such as PayPal or the manual bank transfer option where it is shown. We do not store full card numbers.

Delivery

Orders are sent from China with tracking. For the United Kingdom, tracked shipping is £4.99 and usually arrives in 7 to 12 business days. International tracked shipping is £7.99 and usually arrives in 10 to 20 business days. These times are estimates and can be longer in customs or peak periods. Risk passes to you when the carrier delivers to the address you gave us. Import duties, taxes and local handling fees, if any, are your responsibility and are not included unless we say so at checkout.

Your UK cancellation rights

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you may cancel most distance contracts within 14 days of receiving the goods, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Tell us clearly by email before the 14 days end. You then have 14 days to send the goods back. You pay the return postage unless the item is faulty or not as described. We refund the price of the goods and the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of receiving proof that you sent them. We may reduce the refund if the goods show more use than is needed to check them.

Made-to-order or clearly personalised items, and items that cannot be resold for hygiene reasons once worn against the skin in a way that is more than a try-on, may be exempt where the law allows. If an item is exempt we will say so before you buy.

Faulty or not as described

If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what we described, email us with your order number and photos. We will repair, replace or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This does not affect your statutory rights. Normal wear of a fashion plating, or damage from water, perfume or chemicals, is not a fault.

Our refund steps are also set out at https://www.miorvyn.com/refund-policy. That page and these terms should be read together. If they conflict on a statutory right, the law and these terms prevail.

Discount codes

Codes such as WELCOME10, BLACKFRIDAY15, STACK20 and VIP24 apply only in the dates and on the conditions shown in the store (for example a minimum spend). Codes cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined unless we say so.

Website use

You may use this website for personal shopping. You must not copy our photos or text for commercial use, misuse the checkout, or attempt to disrupt the site. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that UK law does not allow us to limit. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, or for business losses if you buy as a consumer.

We use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy at https://www.miorvyn.com/privacy-policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a UK consumer you may also bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live. Online dispute information for EU consumers may be available at the European Commission’s ODR platform, but we are not obliged to use it.
